Foraging Futures

forage

/ˈfɒrɪdʒ/

verb

To wander, searching widely for things to eat or use: making use of what is naturally & abundantly available in the immediate surrounds.

Foraging Futures is a multidisciplinary, place-based project bringing together Art, Medicine and Local Histories to create a series of Maps, Gatherings and Connections around the histories and pathways of the wild apples, plums, medicinal plants and seeds flourishing across the landscape of Linton, Vic.

Projects emerging from time spent walking are responsive to this local landscape and focused on community tending of common lands and the sharing / building of skills to enable richer more sustainable futures.
